In addition to providing the best 911 response service to the
Salem community, Rural Metro® is committed to invest in the community where
its employees work and live. This is done by encouraging and providing time
for employees to volunteer for civic causes. Since coming to Salem in 2005,
Rural Metro has been involved and donated money to dozens of community
organizations. Some of those include:
-
Medical Foundation of Marion & Polk
Counties
-
No Meth Task Force
-
Boys & Girls Club through the Bite of
Salem
-
Liberty House
-
Local Chambers and Rotaries
-
Cub Scouts & Boy Scouts
-
Salem area elementary schools
-
Education Leadership Institute for
Teachers and Crystal Apple Awards
-
City of Salem Fourth of July
Celebration
-
Red Cross
of the Willamette Valley
Rural/Metro Ambulance understands that providing the community with premier

Examples of our community involvement include; public safety information
presentations for community residents and health care facilities,
opportunities to meet crew members and tour ambulances at health fairs,
